You may recognize Carmindy as the makeup artist on TLC's What Not To Wear. This book is awesome! Her trademark beauty philosophy of a '5 minute face' is brought to life in this book - the idea that every woman can master the five-minute everyday makeup look and then add to it for an evening look. The book focuses on the positives of a woman's face, and teaches you how to enhance your best features. 5 Minute Face is a great reference guide for every skin tone, and even features chapters on sculpting the perfect eyebrows as well as fancier looks (for weddings). As a bonus, the back of the book features a guide of where to purchase the products she mentions throughout the book (listing the expensive, middle and lower priced item alternatives).

This book is another great reference guide, a 'beauty bible' if you want to call it that. It has over a thousand pages (!!!) of makeup recommendations, helping you purchase what's right for you and your wallet without spending a fortune on products that are no good. The book contains reviews of all the latest products from drugstores and department stores product by product so you're able to decide what's best for you.
